The German prog rock band BIRTH CONTROL, which has existed for well over 50 years, will release their first live LP since almost 45 years on April 20, 2024 for Record Store Day'24. “Live @ Tresohr Sessions” contains 6 energetic tracks, 5 of which are previously unreleased live versions of the 2022 studio album “Open Up”, and gets to the heart of Birth Control in 42 minutes. The LP/CD "Open Up" (2022) which was placed in the top 100 of the German LP charts, was the follow-up to D-LP/CD "Here and Now" (2016).
After the sudden death of mastermind Bernd "Nossi" Noske in 2014, BIRTH CONTROL have been successfully touring again since the beginning of 2016.
With Sascha Kühn (keyboards since 2001), Hannes Vesper (bass since 1998) and Martin Ettrich (guitar since 2009), Peter Föller (vocals) and Manni von Bohr (drums) - two old BC members from the 1970s and 1980s formation - belong to the current line-up since 2016.
