Chato Segerer has already performed with his solo show in 2013, in 2017 he came with his band CHATO! and now he is back with his latest project called ZAPPED.
This Nuremberg band owes its name not only to the fact that it pays homage to Frank Zappa, but also gives the audience energy like an electric shock through their music. ZAPPED, the winners of the Nuecomer Jazz Awards 2023, present a colorful mix of genres from jazz, rock & funk using Zappa arrangements and their own compositions. Sometimes groovy, sometimes abstract. Sometimes serious, sometimes witty. Zappa style!
Furthermore, this band is perfect for hardcore Zappanale fans, because their setlist includes the less to rarely covered Zappa songs, even a number (hint, hint) that has so far only been played by the Zappa hologram band
